Nairobi, Kenya – Jeniffer Kananu, Marketing Director of Chef Media Ltd., expressed her gratitude to the attendees and exhibitors at the second edition of the East Africa Clean Expo. The event aimed to provide a networking platform for the cleaning industry and foster connections between housekeepers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
In her speech, Ms. Kananu acknowledged the privilege of having everyone present and expressed her appreciation for their support and participation in the Expo. She highlighted the significant role played by exhibitors in making the event a resounding success and expressed gratitude to the organizing team for their hard work behind the scenes.
While recognizing that most attendees may not be aware of the extensive efforts put into organizing the event, Ms. Kananu emphasized the importance of their presence and the impact it would have on the networking opportunities provided.
“Housekeepers are very busy people, and that’s why we appreciate all of you actually taking time off to be with us here,” said Ms. Kananu. She acknowledged that the first edition of the Expo in 2019 had faced initial challenges, mainly due to housekeepers being unaware of the event. To overcome this, the organizers collaborated with the Housekeeping Association of Kenya to ensure greater awareness and participation.
The Expo aimed to provide a platform where housekeepers could connect with suppliers, manufacturers, and their peers. Ms. Kananu encouraged attendees to take advantage of this opportunity to build networks, exchange contacts, and support each other in the industry. By fostering these relationships, the Expo aimed to enhance collaboration and facilitate easier access to resources and support for housekeepers.
“As we start our summit this afternoon, I do welcome you very much. Thank you so much for your time, and we are glad that we have you here,” concluded Ms. Kananu.
The East Africa Clean Expo offers a valuable platform for housekeepers to come together, network, and connect with industry partners. The event promises to empower attendees through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and access to a wide range of cleaning-related products and services. With the support of the Housekeeping Association of Kenya and the organizing team, the Expo aims to continue growing and facilitating the success of housekeepers across the region.
